Variance Legend
I-P Variance (Individual-Player)
A High I-P player has the power or speed to completely exceed their floor — boom-or-bust. Neutral players are consistent and reliable.
Stack Variance (Team Stack)
Stack 5 on a High variance team and the ceiling is enormous — sequential hitting, favorable implied total. Neutral is situational.
I-P Variance (Individual-Player)
A High K% pitcher can push their score well past projection. A Low K% arm is more projection-bound.
Matchup Variance (Opponent Context)
Low opponent total = Vegas pricing a dominant outing (Good). Poor means the scoring environment is real.
